Hola Valeria, Joycedeliz, Andrea y tus familias. Yo estoy pensando en ustedes todo el tiempo. El equipo de MKA Voleibol regresamos de Puerto Rico este semana pasada. Ahora es Septiembre, el mes de la conciencia de cáncer pediátrico. Ustedes tres estaban niñas pequeñas cuando Dios decidió llevarlas con el. Yo admiro la lucha que ustedes tenían adentro para luchar contra el cancer. Este mes especial, ustedes estará en mis pensamientos como siempre. Este viaje me hizo apreciar lo que tengo y me enseño que no importa lo que esta pasando, siempre darle gracias a Dios por las bendiciones. Gracias para tu inspiración. Descansen tranquilos mis ángeles. Nosotros te amamos.

El dia 26 de junio de 2011, tuve un dialogo con tu papÃ¡ Valeria! en una oficina mÃ©dica y fue una linda bendiciÃ³n y una fortaleza para mi alma. Quiero que sepas que tu dejastes mucha paz y dulzura en el corazÃ³n de tu padre, y eso solo sucede en la vida de aquellos padres que hemos dejado de ser nosotros para convertirnos en el Todo de nuestros niÃ±os con condiciones. A nosotros (padres de Camilia) ya nos hablaron de la famosa frase de darles una Calidad de Vida pero sabemos que debe existir algo mas y es por esto que hemos tomado tambiÃ©n la desiciÃ³n de irnos. Hello Reyes Family, So I should definitely be writing more often, but it's probably been a year. This morning I was going through old emails and found a youtube video of Valeria singing, then I saw the tribute video and WOW, that was a powerful one, tracing your journey to where you are today. I also read the journal and something struck me that I wanted to mention. In the Summer of 08, your mother mentions a feeling of pure joy seeing you with the family away from the hospitals and that right there is what I think is your key, your path to well-being. That feeling is a sign that you all are truly tapped into how God intended you to be here on earth, and when you are in that moment feeling that feeling I believe it's as close as we can come to heaven on earth. Imagine expanding that moment to a few minutes, to an hour, to a day, to a week, to a month and so on, and all that good that would come from that one feeling - of just feeling good. My two cents here today, is that if you guys all focus on that everyday - NO MATTER WHAT - your lives will all expand into what it is you all truly desire. I have such a feeling of LOVE for all of you right now, so proud to know you are apart of my family and, have to say, I see your strength shine through every photo and every written word. Hey Valeria we just watched the video from thanksgiving and Jacqueline and I were in the Apple store in the city when we were watching it. I was in the hospital (MSKCC) in June into July of 2007. I had a brain tumor removed. Valeria's mother came into my room and said hello and told me about Valeria. A toda la Familia Reyes: Papa Dios tiene un proposito con cada uno de nosotros. Es evidente que El tiene un plan divino y perfecto con ustedes tambien. Quiero q sepas q eres parte de mis oraciones al Santo Padre desde q escuche tu historia por medio de mi primo qn es un pastor en Costa Rica en una extension de la iglesia madre localizada en Bayamon. Mi unica hija Tiffany nacio con spina bifida en el 95 en Jersey City, NJ. Segun los medicos especialistas, mi hija no iba a caminar y pensaban q no iba a vivir por mucho tiempo. Pero ellos no sabian q mi hija ya era un milagro de Cristo Jesus desde antes de formarse dentro de mi. Tiffany ya tiene 12 anos, no solo camina, corre, brinca, patina(sobre hielo), baila, juega baloncesto, pelota. Cursa el septimo grado en la escuela(no educacion especial) y tiene buenas calificaciones. Pertenece al grupo de jovenes en mi iglesia y le encanta cantar, actuar, leer la Palabra y tocar los instrumentos para Nuestro Padre Celestial. Te digo la historia de Tiffany porque quiero q mantengas la FE en Jehova de los Ejercitos aunque vengan momentos duros, fuertes q algunas veces no podemos entender. Nuestro Dios es un dios vivo, de poder, el Medico de Excelencia, para El nada es imposible. Le pido al Padre q te cubra con su Manto de Poder y ponga sus manos sanadoras sobre ti para q su poder de sanacion se manifieste en ti como solo El puede hacerlo por su amor y misericordia hacia sus hijos. Solo Dios sabe el proposito q El tiene para cada uno de nosotros y conoce nuestros corazones. Q Dios te bendiga cada dia mas a ti y a tu familia. God is good, all the time. In Nov. of 2004 my friend's only son had a fever that wouldn't brake and they didn't find no kind of infection, so they sent him home with motrin and tylenol. By the 3rd day his mom went to a different hospital and they discoverd that he had the medenjidest virus. They rushed him to Pestpaterian Hospital were he fell in a coma. He was 21 months old. He was in a coma for a week. He had suffered a couple of strokes. They drained his head from some liquid that he had. We thought he was going to die. He was in the hospital for a month. Then they had to put him in a special hospital so they can help him learn how to do everything he already knew how to do all over. He forgot most of the people in his life. He could walk, talk, sit up. He was like a 4 month old baby all over again. After 4 months he started coming home for the weekend. He learned alot from my som that is almost a year younger. He is now 5 years old. He wears a brace on his leg but he walks, talks, laughs and do what most kids do. Thanks to God. So take care and give it time. Lots of love.

I met your mom and dad while they were visiting AIG where I use to work. I have 8 granddaughters ranging from 8-21. We made gingerbread houses before Christmas and they really enjoyed it. We had a big snow here this past Friday. We got 12 inches. My granddaughters all went sledding today. They all have sore bottoms from falling off and sumersaulting down the hill. Even my son and daughter fell off and tumbled down the hill. But all had a good time. Dear Valeria: My husband Steven (The Cable Guy) did an install in your home a few weeks ago and got to talking with your mother and learned about your situation. He came home and told us all about it. We want you to know that you are in our prayers and out thoughts always. You seem to have been blessed with having a great support system beginning with your parents and brothers. This is very important, my mother-in-law had colon cancer about 2 years ago and I firmly believe that without the LOVE & SUPPORT she received from her family she wouldn't have come thru with flying colors like she did.
